Handmade in the Czech Republic.

Material: pine wood.

You’ll practice healthy walking.

You activate the arches, toes, ankles, knees.

Kick start your feet

From a beautiful piece of wood we carved a balance half-roller for everyday exercise. It will lift your mood — and natural wood feels pleasant to the touch.

Will it be in the way at home? No — lean it in a corner after exercise. But between us: once you try it, you won’t want to put it away.

  • You’ll train the deep stabilization system.
  • You practice balance and coordination.
  • You stretch and strengthen muscles from the feet through the core to the back.
  • The exercise is fun and a great helper against stress.

Simple exercise even during the workday

You’ll use this exercise tool from physiotherapists in 4 positions: flat side up, round side up, parallel, and perpendicular. Each time you engage different muscles and train a different aspect of healthy walking.

Keep the balance half-roller by your desk, for example. During a short exercise you’ll stretch, activate muscles, and treat yourself to a moment away from the computer.

How to exercise?

Even a complete beginner can do it

You don’t need complicated drills. All you need is simple steps, squats, and strides. The exercise has just 4 rules:

  • Watch the correct position of the foot.
  • Use the half-roller in different ways. Flat side up or down, foot perpendicular or parallel.
  • Hold the wall if you like. Later you’ll manage without holding on.
  • Adjust the difficulty yourself. You can start by just stepping on, later stand on one foot, close your eyes, or take a few steps.

As a physiotherapist I used balance half-rollers in my practice. But I wanted something better. A pleasant exercise tool from natural wood. It’s a joy to train on.

Physiotherapists about Ahinsa shoes

Ahinsa shoes allow the foot natural movement because they provide plenty of space for the toes. The thin and flexible outsole lets the foot perceive the ground. We must mention the ethical and ecological production in the Czech Republic. An ideal choice for anyone who wants more from their shoes and wants to enjoy a real walk.

physiotherapist

Ahinsa shoes are beautiful, original Czech barefoot shoes, with careful craftsmanship and high-quality materials — natural or recycled. They provide generous space in the front of the foot, which is necessary for correct toe posture and influences the posture of the whole body.
